HSUS Says: ”Cage-Free: As the term implies, hens laying eggs labeled as “cage-free” are uncaged inside barns or warehouses, but they generally do not have access to the outdoors.”
Can you believe that animal rights groups like HSUS take family farmers to court to make them prove that eggs are cage free?
By Golly, every single egg produced in the United States is CAGE FREE!!! And I’m happy to hear that my eggs do not have access to the outdoors where germs can gather! I can just about bet every dime I have that, whether or not the carton says cage free, no egg has ever spent any amount of time in a cage.
Those eggs do not spend one day in a cage! See how they are made here.
